Visual Basic

Visual Basic (VB) is the third-generation event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft to develop Software applications. This developer friendly 4GL RAD (Rapid Application Development) tool from Microsoft was most popular & commonly used to develop Application Software by many companies. The software developed using this tool, had to be installed at the User’s PC and interfaced with centralized database server.
All products developed initially by Infolog Solutions (P) Ltd were developed using this tool and successfully implemented at various customers sites.

ASP.Net & C#

A web based architecture software tool is the latest from Microsoft to develop web-based software applications. That is, the software developed using the tool is installed only once at the Server (i.e, web server) and the Users either within the office premises or remotely can login and use the application.   This new technology tool simplifies development and thereby enables for faster development life cycle.
Our products initially developed using Visual Basic were migrated and in some cases re-designed to work on the .NET framework. We are also in the process of converting the code from version 1.1 to the latest version of ASP.NET & C# 3.5

MS-SQL Server Database

A relational database management system (RDBMS) is the most popular database from Microsoft.  This is installed in a centralized server to hold the data entered by the users and derived it in various forms like reports, registers, MIS etc. Irrespective of the tools that are used to develop applications, database remains constant. 
At Infolog, Microsoft SQL Server has been our database of choice from our initial product development days, and has continued to remain so, till date. Even the business driven rules are set in the database for efficient & consistent workability.
