1.) Can RMSoft be accessed any where?
A. Yes. RMSoft is a Web based application, with Three Tier architecture on .NET Technology & SQL 2000 / 2005 Database. It can be accessed globally.
2.) Can security levels be created?
A. Yes. RMSoft has User admin Access Control where a user can be defined with the access to screens as per the role and actions.

3.) Does RMSoft give alerts?
A. Alerts can be created based on the Module and requirement of the customer alerts can be given in the form of Automated Emails, Pop – ups & Reports.

4.) What are the modules which are covered for Return Management?
A.The Modules covered in Return Management are Repair & Return, Repair & Replacement and Advance Replacement Modules with Warranty / AMC Management.

5.) Is there any Portal for logging the Customer Return Material?
A. Yes, there is a Portal for logging in the Customer Return Material Form & on Approval the RMA No. is allotted for the RMA Request’s.

6.) How does the customer get RMA No. for the Logged Call? A.Customer will receive an Auto-mailer or when he logs into the portal, he can see the RMA no. for the Call Logged in the Dashboard of the portal.

7.) Can MIS reports be created?
A. Many MIS Reports are available & can be customized based on the customer requirements.

8.) Can RMSoft be integrated with any 3rd Party Host System?
A. Yes. RMSoft can be integrated with any of the 3rd Party Host Systems. Preferred in Excel Format by Offline Batch Mode Method.

9.) Will RMSoft supports only the Return Material Operation of an Organization?
A. RMSoft has other modules like Inventory Management, Location Management & SLA Management tightly integrated with Return Materials Module to give an added advantage to the organization.

RMA (Return Material Authorization) Management
 

This module is to log the Trouble Ticket & Generate an RMA for the customer returns thereby providing either Repair or Replacement / Advance Replacement against an RMA on approval by the Technical Assistance Team.  The module can provide the information like No. of Trouble Tickets Raised,  No. of RMA raised,

This module is essentially to maintain the material inbound activities in the warehouse and subsequently map with the RMA and place in the appropriate locations. The efficiency in this process will lead to proper Inventory Management and Retrievals, thereby reducing cycle-count time. This module can provide the information like No. of Defectives received against RMA from the customer, Buffer Stock received for giving Replacement / Advance Replacement, No. of Repaired / Replacements received from the Contract Manufacturer.

 
Advance Shipment Notification(ASN) from Vendor / Origin Warehouse
Automatic or Manual Reservation (Soft Blocking) of Locations against an ASN
Various Receipts - Finished Goods, Against RMA, Import, local, Stock transfer, Back to back
Defective Receipts from Buyer against Primary RMA

Local Testing Centre
  This module is to log the observations of the Local Repair Centre testing.  The decision to replace or repair the defective equipment will be logged and also the decision to despatch the defective which cannot be repaired in Local Repair Centre will be despatched to the Contract Manufacturer.   This module gives the Local Repair Centre Test Report, the No. of Defective Materials despatched (To the Contract Manufacturer) & Pending for Despatching(To Contract Manufacturer).

Defining Despatch of faulty equipment to external Repair centre.
Primary RMA Closure of faulty equipments which are required / replaced
Generation of Supplementary RMA for the Faulty Equipments Which are despatch to external Repair centre
Inventory Planning & Procurement
 

The module allows for Inventory Planning and Procurement. The following are its features

This module is essentially to be used for Warehouse Maintenance and Stock upkeep. The following are its features:
